300 Papers from 20 Countries Submitted to Conference on ‘75 Years of Occupation in Palestine’

IQNA – The secretary of an international conference on “75 Years of Occupation in Palestine” said 300 papers in 6 languages have been submitted to the conference.

Seyed Mehdi Taheri noted that the Islamic Humanities Higher Education Center of Al-Mustafa International University is organizing the scholarly event on the 75 anniversary of the occupation of Palestine

He said given some questions about the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance forces, the conference seeks to clarify the fact and background of the formation of the Zionist regime and the history of the regime’s crimes in order to better understand the current developments in Palestine.

He said the world Zionism has been using major media outlets to distort facts but thanks to Islamic and popular media today, light has been shed on the Israeli regime’s crimes.

This conference is going to offer an accurate analysis of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and its outcomes, especially the shattering of the Zionist regime’s hegemony, he noted.

According to Taheri, the international conference will kick off on February 27, 2025 and run for a week.

The closing ceremony will be held at Amin Complex in the holy city of Qom, he stated.

The papers have been submitted by scholars and researchers from 20 countries to the secretariat of the event, he noted.

He added that they are in six languages, namely English, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, French and Turkish.

Some 40 academic and scholarly centers in Iran and other countries are cooperating in organizing the event, he went on to say.
